Promote economic interest of its members, to encourage thrift, saving and self help.
Acquire land, form lands and release house sites to members in accordance with norms laid down by the Government of Karnataka.
Undertake construction of houses/flats/apartments on the lands acquired/purchased for the benefit of members subject to approval by competent authority.
To make loans to members for construction of new dwelling houses/purchase/extension/repairing their existing houses.
Construct building or take up works for common utility of the members.
Manage, maintain and administer the property of the society.
Undertake such activities as are necessary or expedient for attainment of objects of the society specified in the Bye laws.
Eligibility:
Servicemen, Ex- servicemen, their family members, Defence Civilian employees paid out of defence Estimates, Para-military personnels.
Any person who is above the age of 18 years and who is competent under Sec.11 of the Indian Contracts Act,1872.
Application:
Every application for membership shall be, in writing, in the form prescribed by the Society and shall be addressed to Secretary of the Society. Application cost is Rs.25/- only.
